Our aim is to introduce wine lovers to the exceptional character and quality of South African wines and to provide unequalled access to information about the wines, the people who produced them and the regions where the grapes were grown. We know you'll walk away in love, and with a deeper understanding of how wine so uniquely expresses a sense of time, place and culture.
On this very special weekend, winemakers, winery owners, importers and distributors gather for this rare opportunity to pour their wines directly to the people who'll be drinking them, instead of a convention hall full of industry buyers. We enjoy seeing them in their blue jeans and T-shirts, out in a field in the middle of Virginia, laughing and catting and sharing their stories and their passions for what they do.
As always, visitors will also have the opportunity to taste Grayhaven’s small batch and special release wines.
A Wine Drinker Admission Ticket will give you access to tastings of all the wines in the main event area. You'll also be able to buy wines by-the-glass or by-the-bottle to enjoy at the festival or take home. Wine lovers who purchase $100 or more of wine for take-home will receive a VIP Tasting Pass for 2, allowing access to the VIP Tasting area where special reserves and limited-release wines will be poured.
